Walk away with a little “how to,” a little wisdom, and lessons learned by one of Wayne State University’s early adopters and emerging technology evangelists as we share applications and best practices used to put the latest Microsoft collaboration technology to work in a higher education environment. In this presentation, you’ll hear about the experience we’ve had with the challenges of getting higher ed users to adopt new technology and the practical ways used to mitigate resistance, gain consensus, and move toward active participation. Get tips on how to think about project startup with rich collaboration in mind from the beginning; how to use Microsoft Teams to get a project started on the best possible foot; and how to keep project momentum going through rich online member engagement.

This presentation is suitable for attendees at all levels of knowledge/expertise. Those with basic knowledge/comfort with technology are welcome to watch, listen, and learn; while those with more advanced technology comfort are welcome to join the demonstration space during the session.
